GRAPHIC DESIGN CUSTOMIZED
At first, graphic design may seems like to somewhat difficult process to define, which makes it difficult for some small and medium-sized businesses to decide and turn for a professional.
It is possible that you have had some negative experiences in this area before.
I often hear from my clients that “there used to be a clever graphic designer who designed something for us, but it wasn’t real”.
It rightly arises that who made a mistake and who did not do his job properly?
Maybe the graphic designer wasn’t talented enough or the job description wasn’t well understood?
Usually these are the first questions that are formulated in the customer.
The situation is that none of the parties probably made a particular mistake.
The problem can be solved by accepting the fact that your graphic talent alone is not enough to make a project a success.
The key is the communication between the two parties and the empathic ability of the designer.
So my job as a designer is not to put the concept outlined by my client on paper one at a time, but rather to feel the motivation and translate the message filtered through the words into visual language.
However, of course, I am neither a medium nor a psychiatrist, which is why I have developed a well-transparent, objectively traceable process that can help our cooperation.
THE CREATIVE PROCESS IN STEPS ...
Consultation
At the beginning of the project, we discuss the details and lay down the defining cornerstones.
Ideas
It is in this phase that the seeds of concepts are born. I assess visual trends related to the topic and symbols related to key concepts.
Sketches
At this point, I grab a pencil or pen and on paper the moment the idea originated
I cast a sketch of the form.
Elaboration
Here the sketches take digital form, which I will present to the client.
